Help with childcare costs

Government Funding

There are a few different types of funding that your child may be eligible for. To find out more visit this website where you can enter some details to see what you may be eligible for and how to apply.

Possible types of funding:
Working parents may be eligible for 30 hours funding from the term after their child is 9 months old

If your child is 2 and you are on a low income/receiving universal credit then you may be eligible for 15 hours funding from the term after they are 2.

All children are eligible for 15 hours funding from the term after they are 3 – this is the only type of funding that you do not need to apply for.

If you need any help applying for funding or working out what you are eligible for then please contact us.

Tax Credits/ Universal Credit

You may be entitled to receive Tax credits or Universal credit which can be used to pay for childcare. This website gives some helpful advice and a contact point to find out more about what you may be entitled for and how you could apply for it.

If you are receiving this then they may sometimes ask for evidence that you are paying for your childcare. If this happens then just speak to us and we provide whatever is required.

Tax Free Childcare

If you are working you may be eligible to apply for a tax-free childcare account with the government. Visit this website to find out more.

If you are eligible then you will be able to open an account to pay us directly for your child’s nursery fees. You will be able to pay money into it and the government will add in 20% of whatever you pay in.

Contact us if you need any help setting this up.

Childcare Vouchers

Some companies still provide a childcare voucher scheme. If you are a part of of one of these you just need to let us know who it is with so that we can sign up to receive payments from them.

Registration

Registering your child at our nursery is a very simple process. Please contact us in your preferred way (Facebook messenger, WhatsApp, phonecall, text or email) to discuss what you need, answer any questions and arrange a visit to our nursery. Once you have decided you will be asked for a few details so that we can send you a link to our registration form. Once completed this will secure your child’s place with us. If your child is eligible for funding you will be given a funding entitlement form as well and asked to show us a copy of your child’s birth certificate or passport.

We look forward to hearing from you soon!
